Did the fixed overworld map always take this weird right angle turn just before that town? Did the tile-sets for the first dungeon always look so grim and gothic? Is this warbeast thing with the eyes that glow like the Scarecrow's do in that bit at the end of Batman Begins a brand new critter, or just one that never bubbled out of the algorithms for me before? If this image doesn't do much for you, Torchlight 2's probably not your game.īring Out Your Dead is where it truly clicked. The thing about modding an action RPG - a game that's already designed to throw massed varieties of crazy stuff at you every few seconds - is that it can be tough to disentangle what's new and what's just glorious randomised business as usual. On my most recent playthrough, I've been exploring Torchlight 2 alongside SynergiesMOD, a total conversion that makes quite a difference to the way that the action RPG unfolds.Īt first, though, I had a hard time pinning down exactly what had changed. Or rather, something funny had been installed. Torchlight 2's a generous game, of course, but something funny was up. Shoulders, hats, trousers and various wonderfully nasty weapons potions, spells, piles of glittering gold. More loot than I'd ever seen in Torchlight 2 before: full knee-buckling inventories of the stuff. Mordrox had been hammered into oblivion, his skeleton guards were blasted into powdery white gravel, and, looking about, I noticed the floor was knee-high with loot. It made more of an impact on my latest playthrough, mind, and that's because of the aftermath of that final battle. Meet a shady character near Skull Hollow, chat for a bit, and then head deep inside the catacombs of the Bone Gallery to fight Mordrox, a giant zombie troll. It's a side-quest tucked snugly into the game's first act, and it's typically pulpy stuff. I didn't really notice Bring Out Your Dead on my first few playthroughs of Torchlight 2.

The good news, however, is that the money buys much more than surgery depending on the complexity of the case and how many areas of the face are treated, the price can fluctuate. If the $200,000 facelift did not guarantee an impressive standard of care, perhaps it wouldn’t be worth it. Jacono’s Deep-Plane lift and the more traditional SMAS facelift (SMAS stands for superficial musculoaponeurotic system and refers to the layer of tissue and fascia between the skin and the face’s deeper muscles) is that the Deep-Plane technique does not disconnect the skin from the SMAS, which preserves blood flow to the skin the SMAS facelift separates the two.įurthermore, the Extended Deep-Plane Facelift repositions the facial ligaments that stretch with age and gravity, allowing the face to move freely and preventing it from looking tight or pulled. The inflation of elite facelift prices reflects recent trends in the fashion world. What, after all, could be better than finally having the face of your dreams? The Designer Facelift Back and countless others believe that, although their surgeries cost a pretty penny, the results were ultimately worth the price, affording them a higher sense of self-esteem and better quality of life. “The way I look at this is: this is my face, and it’s going everywhere I go.” “I have a Rolls-Royce, I have three homes, I have everything I could possibly want, but I was still depressed,” said Ms. The total sum came to just over $230,000. Having this visual walkthrough helps everyone understand what the product should do, what order it should present the user with information, and why each feature or page belongs where it is. User flows create a visual illustration of the steps a user will take to get things done in an app. They communicate product goals and plans to stakeholders. Product managers, UX designers, and other product team members employ user flows for several essential reasons. It includes all customer touchpoints with a company-from viewing its advertising to going through the purchase process to interact with customer support.Ī user flow describes only the customer’s path through the company’s app or website. Many people use these terms interchangeably, but they are not the same. Product teams build user flows to intuitive design products, present the correct information to users at the right time, and allow users to complete desired tasks in as few steps as possible.Īre User Flow and Customer Journey the Same? And the same interface works also for Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Twitter – but let's keep it for another time.A user flow is a chart or diagram showing the path a user will take in an application to complete a task. We have an integration ready to get a list of authorized Instagram accounts. If you use Node.js, before you grab fetch and start building your custom abstraction, try OneSDK. Picking a correct Instagram account is a pretty basic integration task, so we've built an easier way to do that. It's also represented as a number, while Graph API IDs are strings. It is intended for migration of applications using the pre-graph API, but it's not used anywhere else. ig_id or Instagram User ID – this is an ID of the Instagram account from the legacy, deprecated API.It must be accessed with a user access token. Documentation refers to it as IG User node. Instagram (Business) Account ID – retrieved from Page node under instagram_business_account edge.Facebook Page ID – retrieved from me/accounts endpoint identifies Page node and acts as an entry point to get an Instagram account associated with the Page.In case of Instagram Graph API, we are dealing with the following IDs: If the API doesn't behave like you expect, check if you have the right ID. Common ID confusionsĪ common source of mistakes when dealing with Graph API is use of an incorrect type ID. In other words, we are telling the API, “give me these fields for instagram_business_account edge under me/accounts edge”. In Facebook's Graph API, it is possible to traverse some edges within a single request – this is what the curly braces in the fields query parameter are for. Make sure “User Token” is selected and add the following permissions: instagram_basic, pages_show_list, and instagram_content_publish (this will come handy in later tutorials). In the right sidebar, select the previously created application under “Meta App”. This is a useful tool for trying out Facebook's APIs and also to obtain access tokens for authorized API access. Get an access tokenįor the following steps, I will use Graph API Explorer. If you are currently troubleshooting requests to Instagram's API and can't wrap your head around their IDs, skip right away to common ID confusions. Check my previous article on how to set up a test account for Instagram API. Prerequisites: This tutorial assumes you have an Instagram business account connected with a Facebook page and Facebook application with Instagram Graph API enabled. Getting an access token is easy, but figuring out the account ID takes a few steps and sometimes causes a confusion. To manage your Instagram account through an API, you need two things: a user access token and a business account ID. There are several factors that go into why a QB would throw a 5,000+ yards year. How many yards a QB throws should not be used to evaluate “greatness” for any given year or player. It’s not like he isn’t slinging the pigskin. It is important to remember that this QB has thrown over 45,000 yards. Time: a combination of less offensive possessions and longer, full-counts, limit plays in general Efficiency: AR doesn’t throw a lot of interceptions when this accurate, less yards are needed to win gamesĥ. MLF and AR believe in “high percentage” throws: this means if a high percentage throw is not there, it is likely Rodgers will run, throw the ball away, or take the hit/sackĤ. Having the lead: typically teams with a lead tend to run the ball more to kill the clockģ. Balance: a team that tries to run to create play-action will have less throws in generalĢ. There are several reasons as to why AR isn’t throwing 5,000 yards a year. And just to finish the wall of text, there's also a reason Aaron Rodgers almost never leads the league in passing yards, and almost always is in the MVP conversation. There's a reason Cousins only wins fantasy leagues. OP brought up Kirk Cousins, who's also one of the kings of garbage time, and again as others have said, Rodgers isn't playing garbage time football against relaxed second string defenses late in games to pad his stats. Brady is probably just as allergic to interceptions as Rodgers but because he throws the ball twice as often, he has more than double the career INTs, and way more multiple INT games if Rodgers throws one he spends the rest of the game being far more careful with the football and throwing more conservatively, and even on his late game comeback attempts he almost never gives up a pick in high-risk situations, partly because he's not throwing 40 yards into double coverage and just hoping his receiver makes the catch another side effect of not having, say, a Randy Moss or Megatron type WR. Brees is one of the better comparisons to Rodgers, accuracy wise, but Sean Payton always ran a big risk/reward style offense with plays designed to get YAC, deep balls to speedsters, and running backs getting involved in the passing game far more often than anything Rodgers has had. His comfort zone seems to be around 25-30 attempts per game, unlike Brees or Brady who'd usually throw over 40 times per game in, as others have said, a much more fast paced offense than the Packers operate. For the most part the receivers also don't rack up too many YAC which also really helps the overall yards most QBs get. Have to take into account that other than Adams, he's never had a top tier wide receiver to throw to, and almost never had a dominant run game to play off of, both of which will limit things like long ball attempts and 50/50 balls. Some of Rodgers worst games look really bad in the box score because he gets pulled early in the 4th instead of staying in and getting 100+ more yds on a defense that doesn't really care anymore. Many qbs you've mentioned are still in there down 24+ in the 4th quarter to try and help the stats. When trailing big in games we know we are gonna lose, Rodgers often is pulled. Rodgers rarely has ever stat padded when losing. This is more as of recent years but Rodgers loves to have the playclock run down as much as possible when on offense. To have decent play action, you need to run the ball so often to make it work even when it doesn't work. Rodgers is arguably his most dangerous off play action. McCarthy and Lafluer are/were firm in having a balanced offense. Risky plays can net big yardage if things go your way. Yes he has made countless risky/tight window throws in his career but there's a reason he's yet to reach 100 INTS. When you have a lead you typically run the ball. We have typically been a top 10 team in the league the majority of his career which means we aren't behind in most of our games. It handled all my photo editing in Lightroom and Lightroom Classic, importing 1,000-plus batches of raw photos from my CFExpress cards extremely quickly and showing zero slowdowns as I navigated the library and batch-applied editing presets… I increasingly work in video and still imagery, both for CNET and on my own YouTube channel, and I found the Air capable of blitzing my edits in Premiere and DaVinci Resolve. With Apple’s M2 chip and 16GB of RAM, my test model was extremely capable for most uses. But the narrow display bezel and the laptop’s 11.5mm thickness means it’ll still slip into the laptop pouch of even my smaller camera backpacks. It offers plenty of screen space for all my tools, as well as providing ample room for video timelines when working with video in Premiere, away from my desk. It’s big enough to comfortably edit photos in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop without needing a bigger monitor. I’m impressed.įor me, its 15-inch display is the perfect balance between size and portability. I’m a professional photographer, and I’ve spent the past couple of months with the latest 15-inch M2-equipped MacBook Air, putting it through its paces on photo shoots, both in the studio and on location. It comes in four gorgeous finishes, including starlight, space gray, silver, and midnight. Thanks again SkierEvans for sharing your experience and let's keep in touch by sharing in this forum our future findings with our Lumix cameras and Mac Studios with Davinci Resolve Studio.Andrew Lanxon, a professional photographer and video producer, really enjoyed using Apple’s “surprisingly powerful” 15-inch M2 MacBook Air which he calls, “superb.” Only possible with Apple silicon, the 15-inch MacBook Air is the world’s best 15-inch laptop. Question: Have you edited 10-bit 4:2:2 V-Log footage with your Mac Studio? If so, how did it go? Smooth playback, no stutter? My PC's fans are quite noisy when rendering a video or doing an audio mixdown so I'll appreciate that silent Mac Studio! The fan noise: That's so nice that the miniaturization of technology in computers makes it now possible to run way more efficiently and generate less heat that before. I will have to get familiar with that Mac environment again. Same here, long time PC user for 20 years but I worked with Macs in college almost 30 years ago. I already have my copy of Resolve Studio, and I bought a GH5 in 2021. I'm looking into getting my Mac Studio in a few weeks from now. I think the fan on the GH6 is for sharing your experience.Ī Mac Studio and a GH6 in the same week? Wow, it's Christmas in April !!! So once in Resolve there really is no difference to operate. I have same MX keyboard and ERGO trackball set up for both PC and Studio so it is just a button press to go between them also Speed Editor. Still working my way around Mac OS but of course once in Resolve there is no difference between PC and Mac. Not yet tried noise reduction etc that may point out a difference. Render times to h265 are about 25% faster though than render on the PC with NVENC. Two track multicam GH5/GH5S UHD 60P plays smoothly so no real difference there to the PC though seems to play Fusion titles a little quicker. Also tried a project I archived from the PC to compare performance. Also just got a GH6 so big present week !! I want to record 5.7K 60P for shows I shoot and have tested a few clips and they play easily as expected. I got my Studio Max this Wednesday so still playing with it as it is my first Apple product coming from Windows. A 2009 review article about the safety of nanoparticles summarizes this, "to date, in-vivo and in-vitro studies have not demonstrated percutaneous penetration of nanosized particles in titanium dioxide and zinc oxide sunscreens". But do not panic, these are concerns under investigation. Once absorbed they might form unwanted complexes with proteins and they might promote the formation of evil free radicals. The main concern with nanoparticles is that they are so tiny that they are absorbed into the skin more than we want them (ideally sunscreen should remain on the surface of the skin). The itsy-bitsy Nano-sized particles improve both spreadability and reduce the whitish tint a lot, but unfortunately, it also introduces new health concerns. The cosmetic industry is, of course, really trying to solve this problem and the best solution so far is using nanoparticles. Sunscreens containing Titanium Dioxide are often hard to spread on the skin and they leave a disturbing whitish tint. The disadvantage of Titanium Dioxide is that it's not cosmetically elegant, meaning it's a white, "unspreadable" mess. Regular sized Titanium Dioxide also has a great safety profile, it's non-irritating and is pretty much free from any health concerns (like estrogenic effect worries with some chemical filters). Its protection is very good between 290 - 350 nm (UVB and UVA II range), and less good at 350-400 nm (UVA I) range. It's definitely one of the best, or probably even the best option out there for sun protection available worldwide.Īnyway, it doesn't matter if it reflects or absorbs, Titanium Dioxide is a pretty awesome sunscreen agent for two main reasons: it gives a nice broad spectrum coverage and it's highly stable. This seems to be true even if the skin is damaged, for example, sunburnt.Īll in all, if you've found a Zinc Oxide sunscreen that you are happy to use every single day, that's fantastic and we suggest you stick with it. But luckily, so far research shows that sunscreen nanoparticles are not absorbed but remain on the surface of the skin or in the uppermost (dead) layer of the skin. We wrote more about nanoparticles and the concerns around them here, but the gist is that if nanoparticles were absorbed into the skin that would be a reason for legitimate health concerns. Still, it's white and disturbing enough to use Zinc Oxide nanoparticles more and more often. Pinnell, it's slightly less white than TiO2. It leaves a disturbing whitish tint on the skin, although, according to a 2000 research paper by Dr. It's also often used to treat skin irritations such as diaper rash.Īs for the disadvantages, Zinc Oxide is also not cosmetically elegant. So much so that Zinc Oxide also counts as a skin protectant and anti-irritant. It's also highly stable and non-irritating. It protects against UVB, UVA II, and UVA I almost uniformly, and is considered to be the broadest range sunscreen available today. The first main difference is that while TiO2 gives a nice broad spectrum protection, Zinc Oxide has an even nicer and even broader spectrum protection.
